Dario Alves

Portuguese painter (1940), he concluded the General Course of Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto in 1956 and the Complementary Course of Painting at the same school in 1973. Between 1960 and 1980 he works in the field of graphic design. In 1976 he started working as a professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, having been President of the School Board in the periods of 1984-993 and 1996-2000. He has been holding single exhibitions in museums and galleries from all country since 1979, being represented in several institutional collections.
